I do believe it is 12 bolts that holds the back plate on.

Note: some A-525 have 2 shaft throught the forks which has a allen
screw above the 5th gear fork to release the 5th gear.

when reinstaling ring clip, make sure it is tight around the shaft

note: reverse is lose and is setting close to where it goes.

NOTE: CLEAN ALL SEALING SURFACES WITH BRAKE CLEANER AND USE ONLY MOPAR SEALER!!!!

or you will have leaks!

Replace the axle seals.

Base engines got 3.05 final for 2.2 overall. H.O. Carb engines got 3.87 final for 2.78 overall. Turbo engines got 3.57 final for 2.57 overall. On a side note, according to my '86 Dodge Data book the automatic on the 2.2 had 2.78 standard and 3.02 optional. And the upshift light is only on the 1.6 and 2.2 Base engines not the H.O. or Turbo.
